Vizcaya Museum
Vizcaya was created as James Deering’s subtropical winter home in the 1910s and today it is a National Historic Landmark and accredited museum.
With this project we tasked ourselves to capture the rugged nature of the museum and the grounds, yet depict the ethereal beauty of it all at the same time. It is unusual to find an ancient Greek garden in the middle of the Miami which is known for Art-Deco architecture, so we used that to our advantage and post produced the images to accentuate the visuals where the camera fell short of reproducing the vibrant colors that appeared before our eyes in the bright Florida sun.
